Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at SSKF. We appreciate the fact that you like to buy the customized portraits we make. We also want to ensure you have a rewarding experience while you are exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our products.

As our products are custom-made (personalized) and digital/tangible goods tailored specifically for you, we have a strict no-refund policy once the production process has begun. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our obligations.

1. Digital Custom Portraits (Before Download)

If you have purchased a digital custom portrait file (e.g., a JPG/PNG file for download):

  • Refund Before Production Begins: You are eligible for a full refund if you contact us before we have started working on your portrait. Once you place an order, please allow us a short time to review it. If you change your mind during this initial review period, we will be happy to issue a refund.
  • No Refund After Production Begins: Once our artist has started the creation process of your digital portrait, we cannot accept any refunds or exchanges. This is because the product is uniquely created for you and cannot be resold to another customer. We will consider the production process to have started once you receive a “Work In Progress” preview image from us via email.

2. Physical Printed Portraits (Before Shipment)

If you have purchased a physical, printed version of your custom portrait:

  • Refund Before Production & Shipping: You are eligible for a full refund if you contact us before we have started production OR before the item has been shipped. This applies if you change your mind shortly after placing the order.
  • No Refund After Production or Shipping: Once we have started the physical printing process or have shipped your order, your purchase is final, and we cannot offer a refund or exchange. The product is made specifically for you and holds no value to anyone else.

3. What Constitutes “Production Has Begun”?

For clarity, we consider the production process to have officially started when one of the following occurs:

  • You receive a preliminary sketch or “Work In Progress” image from our artist for your approval.
  • Our system or team marks your order status as “In Production” or “Processing.”
  • The physical printing of your portrait has been initiated.
  • A shipping label has been created and your order status is marked as “Shipped.”

We will send you email notifications at key stages to keep you informed.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in ensuring your custom portrait is perfect and packaged securely. However, if you receive a physically damaged product or the wrong item due to an error on our part, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.

Please provide your order number and clear photographs of the damaged product or the incorrect item received. We will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, replace the item or issue a full refund, including any original shipping costs.
